Buddy called me to go fishing at 2pm so i figured why not. Boat was at home and i just got off work so we did some bank fishing by the marina.

Nothing special 1/16 double jigs. Blk/chart grubs. Pitch it to the edge of the dock and i did a very quick 25 to 30 count. Most of the times when you take that slack off the line it was heavy with a fish. The other half of the time slow retreive resulted in a tap. If you miss the tap slow down and bam tap again


Got there at 330 and i had my limit around 5. Buddy got his limit around 530. Lots of shorts but also caught a lot of fish. Probably a 5:1 ratio.

Nothing crazy size wise to write home about. Big fish was under 12" with most around 9.5 to 10" for the keepers.

It was an awesome day. I hope to be able to get out of work a little early tomorrow and repeat the same experience.

Woot. Today looks great. Hope to get some thumping action from the crappie in a couple hours
