You can try minnows over brush in about 4/5 fow. Last week fish was shallow. Just look for bait fish if this last cold front didn't push bait out they will still be in the coves.
I heading to ky lake this weekend most likely blood river. I'm pretty much a newbie to crappie fishing and never targeted them in the fall. I'm mainly a bass fisherman. You guys got any tips on what baits to use and what structure to target and look for. I don't have a spider rig setup on my boat and will be slip bobbing and casting. I wanna try and stay on crappie but if my luck runs out I'll be picking up that baitcaster searching for a giant bass. Thanks for any suggestions.
