Fishing this week

Okay Tuesday Chief and I hit Perry. Started fishing around 0800 strolling rocks at Slough Creek between 20 and 10 ft. Caught a number of shorts two keepers. Bunch of other boats all having about same success. As the day grew older the bite such as it was slowed down. We decided to pack up and try Melvern. Will it was a great day for a boat ride as we did not find any fish at all. Tried the dam nothing channel breaks nothing pile nothing just nothing every where. But heck it was a beautiful day to be on the water.

Thursday we hit Pamona checked around found a few fish on brush at 20 ft caught three nice crappie out of it but that was it for that spot. Went hunting only able to find one more fish. Lake has tons of shad all over the place electronics where constantly clouded with shad wind picked up and Switched to the North so we called it a day. All four fish were around 12 inchs and really fat.

Excellent report, and kudos for staying after them. Regardless of a good or slow bite, still great to be out in superb weather.

Fished Perry Tues. And today. Had 38 keepers for both days fishing breaks 10-22ft. Lot tougher this week than last week.

Good job we sure could not find any. Lots of shad. Were you fishing the rip rap

Fished lake Afton Saturday from 5 to 8 only caught a hand full of shorts all in 10 to 14 fow

Anywhere I found shad I caught fish. Way different than Clinton.
