    Thumbs up

looks like you been busy. I like the little sparklers you put on'em. that ought to attract the heck out of 'em. it sure works for us down here, even in off-color water. great job.
let us know how they work.

Alright thanks. It looks good. Bucktail can get bulky on a jig. I like kiptails because the hair is thiner then bucktail. I have used bucktail and caught plenty of crappie of them also. Keep up the good work.

Yeah I like kiptail better too. I just got this bucktail because I liked the color. Its a little harder to tie too than the kip.

Kid you need to get your hands on some southern bucktails. the hair on them is just like calf (kip) tails. The northern bucktails have hollow hair on them that will give a jig tier fits. the weather down here is not cold enough for the deer to grow hair that is hollow, it is solid and crinkly. I go to places that process deer and can get all I want. I just bone'em out, sprinkle salt on'em to aid in drying them out, then dye them.

How do I get my hands on this "southern" bucktail?
