    Thinking of trying for some fall crappie at Barren.Can anyone recommend a cabin with a dock ? Looking for mid Oct .

    You may want to check out Barren Lake State Park lodge/Cabins and boat dock.

    Would guess mid oct the lake will be about 1/3-1/2 way to winter pool. No cabins with docks that I know of. There are cabins at the state park and there is a marina at the state park but they are far enough apart you would be driving from one to the other. You would probably be best served to put in and take out each day.
