Got an email from a friend about Puns. Some were pretty funny so how about a "Pun Thread"? Respond to this with a pun and see how far we get.
I'll start:

There was the person who sent ten puns to friends, with the hope that at least one of the puns would make them laugh. No pun in ten did.
