Depending on which way they are off you need more line or you have too much.
I purchased 4 south Bend Black Beauty 220 trl line counting reels. I just got a chance to put line on them there on 16 foot rods there off four feet at end of the rod using 10 lb viscous line any ideal how to fix this problem. Thanks

I added line took line off nothing worked. At 60 feet I was off 12 feet. I added line and it was still between 12-13 off took line off same thing. So I called northwood were I got them and returned and got the magda 15. I didn't care for the way they sounded when you reeled them in. Thanks for th reply anyway
If the reel read 60 and you only had 48ft. of line out you will need at least 100ft. more line. 25feet of line will only make about a foot difference on the counter.
I don't think it could have held that much more it was pretty full. I ordered magda 15. Do you about how many yards or feet of 10 pound test to put on them. Thanks for the help
All of my line counters are Okuma DX20. The instructions say when using 10 lb mono, fill the reel until the line is about 1/8th from the top of the spool looking on the inside of the spool. I hope I explained it well enough.
