Deleting a Thread

Hello everyone,
I first want to apoligize for being so ignorant. I have a thread posted about selling my jig business and I want to delete it because I think that I have the business sold. Can anyone please help me out.

Just go to the thread and hit edit. Then add SOLD to the thread. Or may a new post in the thread and say the item has been sold. No need to delete.

Yep, just add a post that says it sold. Best way to go.
