Default Gordon and Jeff's dam adventure

Met Gordon at Sparrowfoot ramp at 6am Wednesday. Rain was coming down so hard we took a nap and got on the water close to 8am. First tree Gordon lands a nice 14 inch white and a few minutes I catch one the same size. Thinking we have something going the wind decides otherwise. Trailer the boat and head to the dam about noon. The bite was slow but steady with most fish in the 10 to 12 inch range. When it slowed down we went looking for fish and found a nice school in 16 - 21 FOW and landed quite a few until the storm started building. Left em biting wi 18 total.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1435859481.016506.jpg

    Nice ones guys.
You never give up. Maybe that's because you have to drive farther than we do.

Was on the way back to Peculiar from Springfield, cruising up 7 Hwy. in the new Yukon. It was dark and BIG storm ahead. A bit before Urich I came up behind a boat with the left trailer light out. Told Jane, "That looks like Jeff". Moved over to pass, it was. Dialed him up on the cell and got the above report first hand.

Good day of bad weather fishin' guys!!!
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.
