    Default Hillsdale Report 6/2/15

Lee and I fished Hillsdale on 6/2/15. We arrived at around 6:30am. Combined, we threw CHARLIE BREWER SLIDER JIGS along with minnows and other plastic jigs. Fishing was slow. We fished many of our favorite spots and dipped a lot of trees. The outlet didn't look like it was flowing much when we arrived, but it was going pretty strong when we left in the early afternoon.

We caught 6-8 small crappie here and there, and one small channel cat. Weather was mostly overcast, wind 5-10, and 55-65 degrees. Water temps varied from 65 to 70 degrees. We left at around 1:00pm.

Not sure if the spawn is over, delayed, or just barely happened due to the lake levels. I think we need to go with an official crappie guide next time! :-)
