    3 of us got on them 1-6-07 took all day but we did get 35 real nice fish
    10 1/2 in.-14in. 15-20 feet of water over brush.Mostly pearl white fished real SLOW.Lots of boats out but i think it is all going to change with the weather comming in. Jim C.

    Great mess of fish! Lived in Lenexa, Ks for several years, mostly fished Clinton, Melvern and Pomona. Don't think I ever fished Perry from a boat. We used to fish below the spillway for crappie and catfish and did pretty well. At one time I heard that water quality was an issue as far as eating a lot of the catfish from Perry. Is that still the buzz? When they check the fish for heavy metals (usually mercury) they grind up the whole fish before testing. and then who is going to eat 16 meals a week, etc. etc.!
    the trick to catch that finnicky speck....
    gently set the hook just before the peck
