    Default FireLine

I was using yellow fireline today I like it you can feel everything. But I do not know about the yellow do you guys think it hurts anything? My eyes are 48 years old and the color helps me see the line.

I dont fish without my bright yellow or green line anymore.I watch the line on the drop and many times see the bite rather than feel it.I know alot of folks on here use Mr.Crappie Yellow.I use Trilene Sensation in color Solar,Its a bright green.I like the line but i have noticed it is prone to abbrasition.I may well try some Mr.Crappie when i run out.

I have tried Fireline multiple times but I am not crazy about it. Too stiff for my liking. I have a lot of buddies that love it but I do not. I use Power Pro 2 lb. diameter.

I have some stren gold also however does not seem as strong as the Mr Crappie.

Maybe I got a bad batch I do like that it does not spoof (curl up) as bad.

    Default I love yellow...

I've been using the hi-vis yellow Mr. Crappie and it's been great -- really useful for seeing the bite, particularly under docks where it's shaded.

I've been using 4 lb. test, though, and have been getting tired of retying jigs after getting hung up in the brush. I bought some 15 lb. hi-vis yellow PowerPro braid at the fishing show in Collinsville (Ill.) yesterday and I'm going to try it next time I go out. It has a diameter equivalent to 4 lb. test mono.

    Looking forward to trying it.

watch out on those high braids LOZcrappie, i've broken two poles because i didn't realize the damage i was doing to the pole bending it that hard when i'd get a snag. i still use it, now i am just aware of what is happening and don't pull while bending. i bought some of the new "crystal" fireline. i haven't used it yet, but it looks white to me, not clear.

    Same here.
Crappie don't sleep, is that why I'm so tired?
