Sounds like ya had a good time.
Used to go to Clearwater as a kid. Haven't been that way in years. Used to do good below.
Haven't fished much all spring so I headed out to Clearwater at 0:dark thirty Monday morning. Figured the fish were pretty much spawned out so I pulled some crankbaits. Fished Logan Creek mostly and caught a bunch of fish. A bunch of short fish that is. Kept 7 decent ones for supper. Plus to top the day off, I also got to battle a 9 pound large mouth that hit my Flicker Shad. It was a lot of fun. Definitely the biggest bass I've ever caught. Thought about taking it home to hang on the wall, but had a change of heart. Too pretty of a fish to kill. Weighed it, admired it for a little while then let it swim. Had my best luck in the back of Logan near Webb Creek in 15-18 feet of water. Darker colors produced best all morning until the sun (and ski boats) came out. Sure felt good to get out again.

Way to go Speck.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
Sounds like s good day!
Sounds like a great day Speck!
Nice. I'm headed there in the morning. I live about 15 miles from Webb Creek. I didn't even go this past weekend. I don't fish on holidays. I usually do pretty well there.

Thanks for the update and congrats been wondering how it was.
Nice job. Suppose to keep those flicker shads a secret. lol
Gotta love it when us crappie guys catch those big bass. Congrats on getting out there and getting dinner.
