Would like to see a poll of the most popular kayak used for fishing on crappie.com. Can someone post a polling thread here? Thanks.

    Names like:

    Hobie

    Jackson

    etc........etc.......etc.......

That would be pretty neat to find out... however, there are a lot of variables that go into why one chooses a particular kayak. Type of water fished, size of the fisherman (fisherperson) and so on. So I would suggest not only which kayak, but also why. Nice idea RetiredRR!

You can start a poll, anyone can. When typing your new thread scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see an option to start a poll. You will get a drop down to add your info about the poll and how long the poll will last.

    Native Manta Ray 12'

That's my favorite for any fishing other than big open water. Excellent for ponds and lakes, and smaller rivers like the Mattaponi and Pamunkey.

Loads into the bed of my pickup. (so easy and simple.) (Longer boats stick out too far, so they have to go up on racks.)

Unique feature: stern mounted roller/wheel. Rolls across parking lots and hard surfaces. (Doesn't work so good in sand or mud though)

super comfortable seat!! Me: 6'2" 240

    Favorite accessory: fish finder

downside: the way I paddle, I'm always dripping water on my legs. Nice in hot weather, but not so nice when it's cool or cold. Extra long paddle helps.

    Two Ocean Kayaks:
    1) OK Endeavor (Prowler formally sold by Bass Pro)
    2) OK Prowler Big Game II

I like the Endeavor, but wanted something a little more stable, a lot more comfortable seat for long excursions and the ability to stand without... well, you know... falling out like a goober! The Endeavor has its place, but the Big Game II is my go to for most lakes that I fish the most.

Just sold my Nucanoe and will be picking up my 2015 Hobie Outback Monday.
I'm wanting to try the hands free fishing with peddling.

I have a WS Ride 115, 6' 200#, well, maybe 205. Bad lower back, WS seat is comfy for me.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

My ride is an Ascend FS128T set up for brushpiles and trolling at the lake, drifting on the rivers and camping. Will try to get a picture posted this weekend.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
