    Default First pours

After hours of reading and gathering information I finally bit the bullet and got me some stuff to give pouring a try. Thanks for all the help from you guys I got started. Learned from Dr. Nip 29 drops of white is a bit much lol. This is really fun to do but a warning it is time consuming.

Nice work. That mold is frustrating sometimes with the tails moving when you lift the mold. I like to fish those baits and is about all I use for vertical jigging. On 2 part baits I push my thumb nail down on the tail and pull the body off without taking the bait or tail out of the mold at all. A RonDon trick!

What are you wanting to do make the body one color and tail one color . or are you trying to make a 50-50 split on your plastics. depending on which plastic meat that you are going to make the mo bait puts your forefinger on the tail and pulled the body off closure mold back up and shoot the body color. if you want to make a 50-50 split you could either use tinfoil or make a laminate plate out of metal but the tinfoil on the mold closed mold backup shoot it on a part you will have two halves take the bodies out of the half but it back together and shoot your second color warning you may have splitting occurs if you do not get the temperature just right best way to do this one is to use a dual injector.
