Default Gunna Be a Play IN Da Yard Weekend

Well if the weather guessers are right it looks like we all getting our wish. It was sunny and clear this morning and almost chilly. The standing water in the neighborhood has all but receded. At this rate I may be able to mow as soon as tomorrow afternoon. I aint made it to the garden yet still too mushy, but I know there are bush beans there for the picking.

I put out some tomatoe plants.....and cucumbers yesterday while it wasn't raining. Going to Reelfoot lake in TN Friday for the weekend.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Might as well go to tn to fish, have fun and take pics. Water around here is high and muddy so no perch jerkin or fly fishing for a while here. So plan to work in the yard this weekend and prolly fire up da pit, and next week either the crawfish nets or cat fish poles or both what the heck

Picked up debris myself today, that storm must have had gale force winds or better. Lit a small bonfire:

That's just the yard, working on the driveway now. I have a wetlands area down where my water treatment plant is. That area is it's own ecosystem. Native Louisiana irises are abundant down there, starting to bloom:

Saw a small bullfrog down there, one of several:

You know life is good when you lay down at night and hear those frogs talking about it. Checked one of the peach trees:

This year I'm going to get some of that netting that Gene has to keep the birds off. Thanks for looking.

As always your stuff looks great. I got the grass mowed, weed eating done, a lil fire in my fire pit too. gave the front door a hair cut(wisteria vine) and the drive way and patio a blow job still have some weeding mulching etc to do. Also I have a sac of chicken leg quarters marinating for the pit tomorrow, Official play in the yard weekend is well underway.
