Default Fishing with Kids is Fun

Well I felt like I entered a youngster in the fishing derby and let me tell you he would have WON! Joedog must have caught 20 bluegill and giggled like an 8 year old girl every time. He even caught one TRASH fish, a 13 inch crappie.

I caught one tiny 10 inch crappie and a bunch of grown up fish, I think called ............. Bass?

Great fun day fishing some private ponds with a buddy.

Sounds like he has the bluegill catching down pat. Looks like you had a nice day to fish.

I see there are no trees around that lake. That should have kept you from having to retie his jigs on as much.

Some of those bluegill were 9 inches. Large, well seasoned bluegills that have been around the block a few times and I *still* managed to coax them into hitting a small blue/chrome crankbait.

Bill could only manage small green carp that couldn't have been 6 months old yet! Whose the better fisherman?!

But yeah, I was one Barbie pole away from making a kindergarten girl jealous.

    And Jared.....

I got nothin'. I can't even think of a snappy comeback. When you're right, you're right.

If you want to see some trees decorated with Joedog's lures stop by my house and take a walk down to the pond! Look up!
