Kids Fishing and Education is hosting a high school team tournament on Beaver Lake on April 26. Tournament will be open to all freshmen through senior students with no entry fees or membership charges. Students from any state or any school are invited to come and fish for $4,500 in scholarships and prizes. Included in this prize package is a bonus $1,000 scholarship awarded to the highest placing team fishing in a G3 Boat. Also included in the prize package is a new Minn Kota Fortrex 80 lb. thrust trolling motor to be awarded to the team weighing in the biggest fish of the tournament. These national sponsors make this event possible; Crappie Masters, Minnkota, Humminbird, Talon, Mid South Tackle, G3 Boats, BugBand and Johnson Fishing.

I wished they had that when I was going to high school. Congrats to the people running this tournament.
