Awesome. Im glad to hear we havent fished it out yet.lol
Launched well after the rain let up a bit, littening stopped and thunder moved a comfortable count away.
Hit a cove and marked fish right away in the middle of the channel 12-15' down. Dropped minnow tipped jigs down and rods bent right away. Clouds thinned and that bite stopped right quick.
Moved into the timbers off the channel, picked up scattered fish here and there, no real pattern. 8-13 fow and 5-12' down worked, dialed em right in.
Got tired of the hunt and peck... moved way back in the cove, 5-8 fow, 2-5' down, and the HOGS smashed and ran.
Bonus fish was a nice blue cat and a real nice large mouth bass that got filleted and baged for someone I know that loves them in the skillet.
