Yep!! I'll be there again!
Here is some pix of previous years
Volunteers needed for 4th Annual FISH Day (Friends Involved with Smithville Habitat) at Smithville Lake. April 18, 2015. We will be focusing on the area around the 2nd W HWY Bridge this year from 9 am until we run out of trees. Registration begins at 9 am at the Smithville Lake Access 18, which is located just East of Paradise, MO on W HWY. We will have 4 habitat barges installing huge hardwood brushpiles in the lake. Bring a pair of gloves and a strong back! Last year we were able to put in over 100 brushpiles in 1 day! Please contact me and let me know if you are interested in helping out.
Planning on it. Save me a spot on a gator.
Congrats on a good project. That a nice pontoon with a dump bed on it, have to put that on my list when I win the lottery
Missed last year because of work (work always gets in the way), but I'll be there this year.
I'll try to make it if I'm not working
Seth M.
I'm out of town that day or I'd be there. First one I'm gonna miss since they started calling them "F.I.S.H. Days".
Finally no work conflict! See everyone there!
-Justin. Just a forum stalker/BS'er......
Due to the very high probability of heavy rain Fri night andSaturday morning, we are CANCELLING the Smithville FISH Day for thisyear. Due to heavy scheduling conflicts, I do not anticipate trying to reschedule for this year. Iwill work with the Corps folks to see when we can get the trees we already have cutinto the lake during the week. Please pass on this information toeveryone you know ASAP so there is no confusion.
Thank you to everyone for signing up to assist. Let me know if anyone has any questions. We will certainly try again nextyear.
Thanks,
Eric Dennis - MDC Fisheries Management Biologist - Smithville Lake
