stockton today

Tried to a lake here in southeast kansas today but still had 2" of ice at the boat ramp so headed for stockton. Got on the water at 10:30 and off by 3:00 with 30 keepers. Tried main lake brush for a few hours withonly 4 keepers and then went up the little sac early afternoon to finish our limit. Best bite was in shad in 45-50 feet of water 35-40 feet down using glow chart. and a shad color I pour with a crappie nibble. Few shorts, fish very healthy and full of shad. Fish were pretty aggressive, made for a fun trip. Great day to be on stockton, sorry I missed seeing you Jason.

30 fish is a good trip to me with nice weather. Congrats on locating them.

Brought over a buddy that is used to fishing our dirty water lakes and was blown away by the water clarity, depth we were fishing and all the eagles we saw. Made the trip that much more memorable.
