Default Any tips for a first timer on Lake Tarpon?

I plan on visiting Lake Tarpon for the first time on Tuesday and pursuing crappie and bass.

i will be fishing from a motorized kayak, just curious if anyone can recommend a good launch spot where I won't have to cross the main lake and/or run more than a mile or so to get to decent fishy water?

Also are there any bait shops nearby to get Missouri minnows?

    thanks!
