    Yall remember those smoked hens I brung home from Sam's new smoke house well one olf them went almost strait into Peggy's gumbo pot here is the picture filled post:

    LOL, Gene I was born in Opelousas we plop a sweet tater in our gumbo. But this time peg took a bag of yellow squash outa da freezer and smothered it down with sausage and onions nice and spicy and I put a spoon of that on top. OOOOHHHH MAMA!! Dat was some good.

    Storm cloud smokin the hen first really adds a new level to da ole chicken gumbo it really was delicous. Even betta da next day. like things like that are...
