    Default Monroe - 10/26

Bite was a little slow. Started at sunrise till about 10:45. Slow trolling with jigs and plastics. Chartreuse seemed to be the hot color. Think we caught 14 and kept 10 including these 2 monsters.

Fished Monroe yesterday from 1130 until 400. Very sporadic to me. Catch one and then go a while without catching any. Brought home 21 crappie and one bluegill. Cleaned them up and gave them to a retired friend that recently lost her husband. Probably threw back ten little itty bitty fellas. All fish came on jigs. Hot color for me was a charcoal chenille with a black marabou tail.

    Default Great day.

Had a very good day on Monroe yesterday. Beautiful day, calm water and
caught fish all over the lake. Largest 1 lb 8 oz.
