good job!!
Took a day vacation to fish in the sunny, 80 degree weather yesterday. Boy were they wrong on the forecast. Foggy, cloudy and cool and a little more wind than I like. Oh well......Me and a buddy cleaned 52. Mostly 10 inch and some over 11. Deep brush piles on 1/8 oz. jig head with blue and white Jokers. Something about them Mozingo fish...they are fatter than the Smithville fish. Most of them had egg sacks.
good job!!
Sounds like a great day. I went up on 10/25- caught 25 and kept the best 15- using minnows mainly-some tightlining and some slip bobbering. Some deep- some were only 8-10 feet deep over deeper water/brushpiles. It was a very slow start, but things eventually started hitting-(either that or I got my fingers tuned in to the very light bite). I didn't see any big egg sacks in mine- just very small remnants of a sac. Beautiful day to be on the water- the wind was settled down today.
