    Default Grenada trip

Right now i have myself,ed,hogs, hogs dad, brent, baker, rick, randy, fuzzy, jake and i'm sure beagle if anyone else wants in on a cabin speak up cause we'll need to make reservations soon,if not it is easy to get hotel rooms in town they will cost around $55 a night though.i'm thinking the first week in april would be good,i have been there the last week of march the last two years and have been a little early for the spawn plus crappiemasters has their tourney on 31 mar so it will be extremely busy that whole week prior. All imput at this point will be helpful...lets do it and not just talk it if nothing else you'll bring home some memories that will last a lifetime i know i did.

    Either time works for me.
I have not been their so the timing would be up to you.
Those tourney boys will be taking out allot of fish that week though.
I know last year on Truman they hurt the Lake for a few week.
That is because they all fished the same places I do though 150 boats and 300 people put the hurt on.
Those are fish maybe we could get before the tourney?
Just wanting to irritate ya a little.:D

It's a crap shoot every time you travel to crappie fish,if we wanted to fish before the tournament we would have to go the 2nd or 3rd week of march to beat the prefish'n cause they will all be down there the week before.

    Smile Hard core....

Like bugman said, crappie fishing is a crap shoot, so the date is not important.
I traveled 12 hours and didn't catch many fish, but did as well as most fishing there, and was happy as I could be just to be with y'all, and feel honored that y'all would allow me to meet up with y'all again.
I'm as hard core as they come, but the fellowship comes first, the crappie will follow.
Y'all set the date, and I will work around it. Life's shorter than me, :D if that's possible, and I don't want to miss a thing.

Count me in, please. I'll be coming down with Mr. Baker. How big are those slabs you're holding in the picture bugman? They really look like some dandies, and it doesn't look like you've got your arms stretched all the way out for the camera.

Pic from last Spring at Grenada.
Left is pushing 3 at 18"
    Right was a tad under 2 at 15 3/4.
Boy they sure are thick and healthy fish down there.

Maybe I'll be able to come down for the weekend next spring.
I will be strapped for vacation next year due to CUSA Tournaments and my week long trip to Florida.
