Looks good.
We made Andy's fish chowder today and it is delish!! I was trying to think of more and different ways to use up some of fish and thought of Andys recipe. We used tomatoes that we had grown in the spring and frozen, and also used the two types of sausage we had in the fridge along with some of the mangrove snapper and fresh blue crab that we had. Other than adding some blue crab the only other recipe difference from Andy's is that the tomatoes we grew were so tart I added some half n half to cut the tartness a bit.
Andy not sure where you got this recipe but it is the best fish (seafood in this case) chowder weve had. We love it!

You can cook too?
It's very simple to make. Like the idea of adding blue crab.
Your making me so hungry.
Nah, not real good... lol. Terry cooks a lot on the grill. My specialty normally is taking the leftover stuff from the fridge and throwing it together. Add a little garlic, olive oil and some type of cheese to some sauteed stuff and that will make just about anything taste pretty good.
That fish chowder is delicious and like Andy said .... real easy
Andy - thanks again for sharing the recipe.

This recipe is the best fish chowder I've ever had THANKS for sharin it with us
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
Man that looked good
Can someone post a link to which recipe the fish chowder is? Thanks!
Fish Chowder
1 onion diced
1 lb.Chorizo Sausage ( I put in 3 or 4 kinds of sausage)
4 15oz. Cans Italian style diced tomatoes
1 15 oz. Can chicken broth
1 lb. Fish cut into 1" portions
Salt + pepper to taste.
Fry sausage and onion first, then add to tomatoes simmer 45 minutes or so add chicken broth as it reduces.
ADD FISH IN THE LAST 10 MINUTES, DO NOT STIR!!!
I normally make 3 or 4 batches at a time and freeze in meal size portions to heat and eat later.
Enjoy!
You forgot the Tabasco sauce!
