    Default Eating Oregon style

I was on the Oregon coast for some salmon, tuna and crab catching for the past week. I posted my trip on the SC forum, http://www.crappie.com/crappie/south...-ocean-oregon/, but I thought I'd share some dishes we enjoyed.
Rick and I were staying with our friends Joe and Heidi Boyette and Heidi loves to cook so she fixed some great meals for us.

This was a crab salad made with the Dungeness Crab we got the day before. One of these boys weighs about 2 to 3 Lbs. One makes about 4 of our blue crabs.

This was fish Tacos from Black Sea Bass that Joe caught before we go there.

And this was a "normal' Oregon breakfast at a restaurant down at Depoe Bay of ham steak, eggs, hash browns, biscuit and jelly. I could not eat all the ham it was so big.

And this is only part of the Tuna we canned. We also sealed and froze some to bring home along with salmon (smoked and fresh).

As Joe's daughter said when she visited them after they moved there, "It's all about the eating!" .

I will share one more photo. This is my wife's favorite restaurant anywhere. It is named "Tidal Raves" and we have sat and watched the sun set over the ocean there many times. On this trip, just us guys, we lost count of all the whales we could see spouting out in the ocean.

For you Florida guys, my buddy Rick lives in Deland. I am trying to get him on this forum. He is still working and is way to busy. Got to get him slowed down.

Well as bad as our economy was, I believe everyone here is taking everything they can get to catch up. But when he is ready tell him to join in. Deland is about 5-15 minutes from me depending on where in Deland.
