    Default Reel Help

I realize there are 10,000 opinions out there on reels but I need some suggestions. I currently have 4 10ft rods that I use for spider rigging and jigging around trees and such. I may get some 12ft or 14ft later but for now I will stick with these. I would however like to try baitcast type reels on two of them. Right now I have 2 with the Pflueger Trion TRI20X and I really like these reels (first pic below). There other two are the Shakespeare spincast with the trigger (2nd pic/top reel) and I don't like them at all. I am constantly hitting the trigger when I pick up to set the hook on a fish. My wife will kill me if I spend very much more on fishing stuff so I need some options on a good inexpensive baitcast reel that will be good for spider rigging. Thanks for the help

These are some really good reels for the money. I have 4 of them and really like them for spider rigging.

Check with Grizzly Jig. I bought 6 inexpensive spinning reels from them for my spider rig rods.
