yes on the weed kill, de pleats the oxygen in the area, so the fish move to better water, even in my small pond this happened, took a week for the fish to come back to the porch where we sit and feed the fish.
Last evening we went to the local conservation lake to bass fish. We hadn't been there for a few weeks. At that time it was really getting full of coontail. To the point it was hard to fish and hard to get around the edged because it would keep choking down trolling motor even with the weed cutter prop. So we just,a couple of poles for, fishing worms and crawls. Plus 1 tray with hooks and plastics. Got over there and conservation had killed out most of the coontail. If it wasn't completely gone it was brown not green. Well crap, could have fished cranks. It needed cleaned because it was getting to be to much. But only caught 5 bass between the two of us. They weren't hanging around the edge. Not even bluegill bites. Usually LATE in the evening the school on top after bugs but nothing. The water was still as could be. Does the weed killing affect the fishing? If it does how long does it,take for fishing to,get back to normal?
