    Default Lowrance X135

Anyone familiar with this unit, I am in the market for a depth/fish finder. I would like to go with Lowrance as their customer service has been more than expected.

    Thanks a lot

A friend of mine has a X-125, I think it is very close to the 135 -
a little less power, cheaper. But I was blown away with it in comparison
to the Eagle Optima I was using at the time. Nice unit.

They are good units, but I would suggest getting the X102c. They are color and only $100 more.
I have a new one I am thinking of selling so I can get a gps model.

I have two LMC 332's on my boat and the added GPS feature is well worth the extra cost. I'm not real crazy about running wide open with the screen split, so I also have the straight 3500c GPS at the console. This is so I can stay the course so to speak. Sandbars and lower units tend to slow down the ride.

I have two of the lower priced Lowrance units on my boat and I have had trouble out of them both since I got them.

I have an LCX18C combo unit and it works great. I am in the market for another one to go up front and will buy something similar for up there and will definitely stay with Lowrance.

I have a LC15-MT on my console and a 480 Eagle on the front, both have been great for me. But I hope I can upgrade my 480 someday and get one with a screen as big as my 15 so it will be easier to see.

I would go with the 102c. Unless you want a GPS unit. if you do go with the 332c or the 480LMS. All are great units!
