I have a secret. It's a box fan with a water cooled radiator behind it. It aint a miricle worker but even on a humid day it creates a breeze 15 degrees cooler than the air. The lower the humidity the better it works. Today it was putting out a 75 degree breeze, plenty cool enough to sit but not too cool to not appreciate a cold beer

I'd like to see your fan set up. We have the PortaCools at work , but they're expensive.
