Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky

WHAT: 1st annual Tri-State fishing tackle show
WHEN: Friday and Saturday October 10th and 11th, 2014 (same
weekend as the Wisconsin Dells show. 447 miles away)
WHERE: Richmond, Indiana.

This will be for new, used, vintage and antique fishing items, anything related to fishing. There will be buying, selling and trading as well as appraisals, and consultations by anyone who is willing to do so in their rooms or at the show.

For this year just to see how it goes we have a 25 room block for now and maybe more rooms will be added closer to the date. That block will be held until September 1st. If this show is successful we will do it again next year and get a much bigger block reserved. But in this short of time this is the best I and the hotel can do.

This will be the first in this area! Besides Fort Wayne, Indianapolis and the Cincinnati shows which are 92 miles, 73 miles, 67 miles away. So this should be an untapped market!

Room rates are $60.00 a night for a single king size, or a standard double, and a little more for suites with living rooms. Most of our block are single king size rooms on the first and second floors, with the doubles and suites scattered within our block.

This hotel has an elevator for public use. This is a nice hotel! NICE! O.K. not the Ritz, but not the dollar saver off rural route 3 either. It's all in doors with a drive up canopy and about one minute off of I-70, very easy to find!

The show hours would be Friday night 4pm - 10pm and Saturday from 7am to 11am with table set up starting Friday at 2pm. Admission would be free to the general public.

There will be a $25.00 registration which includes 1 table for the show. The hotel has only 25 8' tables available at this time and more may become available closer to the show date. So if you need more then one table you may want to bring it, if you have it, just in case. The hotel also have 20 2'X8' tables we can use as well. Double that up and that is 10 extra tables.

The $25.00 registration fee will go toward the rental of the showroom plus advertising. There will be room trading Weds.?, Thurs.?, and Friday. in the hotel.

Registration must be made before you reserve your room (or your table if you are only doing the show) for the show as like I said I need that so I can advertise the event in the local newspapers plus to reserve the showroom floor.

I can't go by email promises as promises don't pay the rent.

I am not mentioning the hotel at this time as I do not want any confusions with the hotel at this point in time.

If interested in registering just let me know. IF I do NOT receive at least 20 registrations by September 1st the event will be cancelled and all registration fees will be returned.

As soon as I have 20 peoples registration fees I will then email you and tell you the show is a go and you can start making your room reservations (or tables reservations if you are only doing the show). Rooms will be first come first serve. If the event is a GO and you can NOT make it after that, your registration fee will be non-refundable at that
point.

If you have any problems with reservations I, as your host can not guarantee rooms. Attendees must make their own reservations. You will have to discuss the details of room cancellations and so on with the hotel if need be, as I am not responsible for that as well. You will have to ask about room size and floor location as well, as that will be between you and the hotel, not me. I, as your host will not be responsible for lost or damaged items due to theft or fire. I will also not be responsible for accidents or injuries.

The only rule the hotel has is NO FIREARMS of any kind are to be in the hotel or on the grounds of the hotel. None are to be bought or sold or traded on hotel grounds. If you are caught dealing firearms on hotel grounds you will be escort off of their property!

By sending in your registration fee you agree to the terms and condition above.

I have held a small fishing tackle appraisal event for the past 5 years and have had wonderful success with it. I never made a profit from it as all fees went straight to advertising! I even had a few guys give me more then I asked for so I could advertise even more. So I have experience in putting together shows and promoting them. Just not at this level. This will be a first for me at this level. If you need references I can provided those as well.

If some of you are unfamiliar with Richmond, Indiana it is located right on I-70 and 70 by passes the town a bit but State Route 40 runs right though the town. Like most towns located on the highway that is were most of the action is. So within a 5 minute drive of the hotel you could be at any number of family, fine dining, or fast food restaurants. They have a movie theater, what is left of a mall, like most malls now a days, and it is pretty much like any other town located on a highway.

Now only 12 miles west of Richmond, Indiana on State Route 40 is Centerville, Indiana and that is an antique shop town. The whole downtown is full of antique, collectible and junktiques shops. They also have Centerville Antique Mall which is approximately two acres of antiques and collectibles under one roof!
