Hey guys. First off let me say that I have been fishing for crappie for about 15years now. I ice fish,bank fish, and also fish from my boat. This year my wife wanted to try trolling with me. I asked a few questions on here and off we went for our first trolling experience. We had a nice time and even caught a few nice crappie. I came home that night thinking I need to learn more so I got back on crappie.com. The stuff I found on here helped me tremendously. To make a long story short I saved up some money in order to upgrade my stuff. The stuff i bought included a minn kota maximizer that I snagged new off ebay, Two line counter reels as well as a couple of new trolling rods, and some of those bandit lures everyone talks about here. My wife has always been a bobber watcher when it came to fishing. I took her out Sunday to troll cranks, expecting her to hate it. I'VE CREATED A MONSTER!!!!! She loved it and proceed to wear my butt out. My day was reduced to netting her fish, running the Terrova and picking out colors for her to catch more crappie on. It's going to be hard to get out of the driveway without her now. After 39 years of marriage, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
