We have never fish any Crappie tournies, so I have a few questions. You say launch site, anywhere? As long as it's on Wheeler? How many fish? Weight in site? Can you use live bait? Any rules as to how many lines can be out at a time? 2 man boat teams?

Thanks for your time, we have fished many-a bass tournies, but never any crappie!!

    Default crappie tournaments

Hello. Thank you for your interest.

This tournament is hosted by the Shoals Area Crappie Association.

After you register (I will be there around 5:15am), you may then travel to any boat launch on WHEELER lake and fish.

The weigh in site is at Wheeler Boat Ramp and you must be in line with your fish by 4pm.

You weigh in 7 LIVE fish. No dead fish can be weighed in. They must be 9" in length.

    Number of rods is 16.

You may use live bait, with only 2 baits per line.

This is a team event. so 2 person teams. The $30 entry fee covers the team, with either 1 or 2 people.

Feel free to call me for more information
