Take them for a paddle. They have different hulls and will paddle very different.
I'm going look at kayaks tomorrow and got it down to the nucanoe frontier and the jackson big rig.
Any buying tips would be great?

I tried them both at pack and paddle and liked the nucanoe better. For what I want to do it is easier to switch from solo to tandem and it isn't as bulky as the tuna. All I need now is the funds to get it.
I went to a demo of the Big Rig by Mountain Sports in Dallas this May and according to the demonstrator (who doesn't sell Nucanoe) said the Frontier 12 is more stable and has more options. Both have plenty of options for the fisherman and both are quite stable. The Big Rig is kind of bulky though. Try them both in the water and see which one makes you a happy slab hunter!
