    Default well im done

As of Sunday my jig selling days are over
After much consideration I have decided to close Liar's Corner
it has been an adventure to say the least I have learned a lot and met a lot of great people on this road but my days of selling my jigs are over
I plan to keep my equipment for personal use so I may have a few bait to post about from time to time but have no plans to run the numbers I have I'm the past

A few word of wisdom to anyone how plans to walk down this road (or my thoughts anyway)

To do it right you have to spend money to make money (from my experience)

Be prepared to spend all your time at the bench to make it in this game

If you make a good bait don't be afraid to charge what there worth

Getting in a hurry never helps

    And safety first
Proper venting and PPE is always a good thing

And finally don't turn your passion in to a burden all work and no play made Herman a dull boy

I know exactly how you feel. This is not my first rodeo. In 69 years I also have learned a lot and had a lot of fun. These are the websites I have had over the years:

    Ad hoc Jigs
    I Gotcha Jigs
    fishin4crappie.com
    and now shipahoy41lures.com

I have done everything from tying flies, soldering teardrops and now soft plastics. Much I make is what I personally fish with or to give away as gifts. You really have to invest a ton of your time, have a lot of start up money and continually advertise on every fishing site there is just to try and recoup your investment and stay afloat. Companies who can produce thousands of lures at a time or outsource the job to China are making the money. Mom and Pop enterprises are hurting really bad. Now I do it for the occasional customer but most of all for my personal satisfaction. At the end of the year I will probably shut down my website because the monthly fee for it is more than I recoup from doing it.

You sure matched colors very well and had great baits. I am glad I bought several from you. Now go fishing.

Good for you! Ive fished more this year than I have the past 5 combined! I kept 3 to 5 molds of each bait just to make for myself and close friends. Having more spare time also lets me get back to being more creative with my baits also. Hope you enjoy the free time as I have.
