Took a green carpin neighbor fishing yesterday. 2nd time for this fella, he shows up at the door way too early. Note to self: Next time you want to leave at 5AM, tell Clayton you're leaving at 5:20 or so. First time I showed him a double limit rigging, this time was for a dippin leason. Went up the grand. I used tube jigs, Bronze star carrots and he does likewise. We are catching some hogs. I catch the big of the day: 15.5" and 1.58# with a bucket mouth on her. He immediately goes bass-$#!+ crazy, pulls out this 3.5" long orange/char paddle-twisty tailed contraption, gets it on the hook and goes to dipping again. "If they like those huge carrots, this is bigger".
Well, he sure enough started catching some awesome fish and said they slammed that thing.
Kept a good mess and called it a little early.
Slab slobber... get ya some.!!

We'll never to old to learn
Nice job!
Nice job. I always have the opposite luck with my cousin you gave to tell him a hour early so he'll be on time
Your cousin would be left behind. I give someone 5-10 min. without them calling to say they are late, after that, they get: "I'm already gone."
