I doubted those baits when I first saw them, it just didnt look like a crappie catching bait to me. Looks like they work, so I need to order me some for a trial run. Good catch.
Had a good day out on the water from sunrise to sunset with a friend and caught lots of fish! Crappiemagnet sent me some plastics called DragNmaGs he helped design. You can see them here: www.lobybaits.com
They were really workin well on the crappies and I caught other species as well...Thanks CM!

nice pix and good fish. i too thought those lures looked "funky" but they must work since every pic ahs one hanging out of the mouth of that poor freckle. Good job man.
the next generation of slabhunters
Nice pictures! So, how did you fish that bait. I wouldn't mind trying some of them.
Nice pics. Love the sunset picture. I'll have to try those jigs too
Good things come to those who bait.
Yea I have some but I dont know how I should work them.
Hey BVC the crappie in that one picture looks almost like the golden crappie that someone posted about here while back. I have been catching some lately that look almost golden also. What a beautiful fish. Crappie have so many different color patterns, from gold to purple tint.
Especially that odd looking striped one! :p :DOriginally Posted by crappieseeker
atta-boy. nice fish.
a question about the "striped one". back in the spring i caught one of those on the Tenn-Tom. Never saw one
before or since. I have a sneaking suspicion what it was, but maybe you can tell me. Was it a yellow Perch? I don't think they're native to these waters. must've come down out of Tenn. river.
KEEP YOUR POWDER DRY
Willsjwills, yep - I've caught a couple of those on Bay Springs over the
years, on jigs. Keep hearing rumors that there are Walleye in there too,
but have never caught one. Have you heard that too?
