Well maybe not so productive on keepers, but you got a lot of catching done
We stayed up at Truman State Park this past weekend and did a little catfish and crappie fishing below Truman Dam. Shad were hard to come by, but we managed a few and caught four blue cats and four channel cats on shallow mud flats down below the 65 bridge. We crappie fished by the swinging bridge from 7:30pm - 10pm Saturday evening and caught a pile of crappie, but only ended up with 15 keepers and three white bass. I'd say we easily caught 60-70 fish though in those few hours as it was just one after another. Most of our minnows were dead by then but it didn't matter. Just toss them out a few feet below a float and slowly reel it back. I did well throwing white/chartreuse and blue/chartreuse Slab Buster style baits. A few still had eggs but most did not.

Still a good time. Thanks for the report.
Thanks for the report. It's always fun catching that many no matter what the size.
