I've probably got one of those kind of lights, buried somewhere in the fishing equipment closet .... I just don't use it, because it'll suck a battery down way too quick.

I guess I will just stick to my Hydro Glow lights, I have never caught a fish using those lights though but see a lot of bait fish.
Had not thought about to much light bringing in to much bait before but it does make sense.
FISH ON
I also fish with hydroglow style green lights and during my last nightstalk (2wks ago) I found that using one light instead of two made a noticeable difference in the number of bites that I got. Also, you could try putting your light on one side of the boat and fishing from the opposite side. Seems that I catch all dinks at the light but if I fish the edges of the halo I tend to catch better quality crappie. Big fish are older and smarter.
