Default Places to stay on or near Falls, Bugg's island, Jordon and fishing info

I going to be visiting someone at Duke Hospital and I may try to add a fishing trip to the trip. I have never been to they lake. Any help with places to stay and what the crappie's are doing down there. Thank You

Red, I apologize for not responding. On Falls or Jordan, there are just campgrounds. That being said there are some hotels off of I-40 near Durham.. The Super 8, Comfort Inn variety. I would look at those. They are far enough from the city proper where if you bring a boat there should not be a problem. This will put you between Duke and Jordan Lake.

For me Crappie fishing at Falls has not been so good lately and the Water Skiers are full power. I will be switching to night fishing for the summer I think.

I hope the helps and hope the person your are visiting is getting along OK.
