Lake of the Ozarks just below Truman?

Hi all! Hey I just got invited to go fishing with a friend to the Lake this weekend, his grandparents have a place right by somewhere called The Old Oar House, near Warsaw. I guess it's on the Osage arm below Truman. I've never fished the area. Has anyone here been there recently and could offer any advice? I've read the spawn is on most everywhere, so I'm hoping the old stand-by of minnows under bobber will work? Or have those crappie already spawned and are back out deep? Thanks for any and all assistance!!

We caught them in 20-30' right on the bottom in the main channel below the buoys last Thursday and Friday. Minnows were the best bait. The bite really turned on during the last hour of the day.
