Decent night of fishing! First time fishing from a boat and not squatting on a bank in two years thanks to an invite from a friend to see fishing from a different perspective. We fished around the Bolivar Landing area. Water temperature was 61* an the wind was calm for the most part. Fishing was slow until the sun went down below the horizon. Fished a jig while also trailing a minnow with a bobber on another pole. Both methods were effective and we both caught fish consistently. We caught mainly small males just off the bank to five ft. of water. Many of the nice sows we caught were in deeper water (10-15 ft.) We brought home 22 keepers combined...three were 13 inches plus. Fun night and hope the info helps those of you heading to Pomme! Good luck!

Good job!
A bit crowded around Bolivar Landing last night, thought it was Saturday when we pulled into the parking lot. Hard to fish most of my favorite places, someone already here, but managed to pick up our limits and escape before the mad rush at dark.
Thanks for a great report!
