I would give it a try, what is it CP?
Or have you ever seen one? I useta catch them in Florida using my shrimp net or sometimes a home made gig. Good eating. If you ever get a chance to go spawn hunting, do so. It is fun to hunt them and they eat good too.

Raised prawn for a couple years doing some research with catfish and prawn production during my tenture at UTM. Great eating little critter and even more impressive grower. They can't handle the cold water temps of Tn in the winter, but can be grown in a matter of 9 months from very small to very large eating size. Cool dude.
that would give new meaning to a crawfish boil...not much room for the corn
Where do you find them in the wild?
FISH ON
Yummy!! Imagine the size of the Snook that would eat that feller. Oh my.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
People that raise them around here put the word out when they are ready to harvest. They wait in long lines to get them. Bill Hall, out of channel 4 in Nashville, did a show on them years ago. They say the farmers never know what kind of crop they will have until harvesting time when they drain the ponds. Been meaning to try them sometimes.
