Cataract Ice Report

As of today at 12:30pm 3-13-14, the Cat is iced in. Was at park ramp and lake had ice all over. Had a few open little pockets. But ice is on the park ramp. Went over to cunot ramp and had some open water from ramp to lower falls.(????) To the left of ramp towards narrows had ice. Looks as if it is floating to narrows and is stuck there. Fellow at Buck and Dumb Bass bait and tackle on 243 and I70 says lake it open to the falls from Cunot, but as we drove over HW42 could see some ice through the tree, he also said he is getting minnows in soon. Main point is The Cat is no good for the average boater as of today. Because of this info the Cataract Slab Masters will not have their first tourney March 20th. We will be there April 3rd.
