Way to go Fry.Sounds like ya had a good time.:D
well, it the niangua arm was really nice looking. i loved the bluffs everywhere. didn't find any walleye or stripers but i did find a pretty good little honey hole for the slabs. had a heck of a weekend around my dock, average fish was 10.5" on top of my brushpiles, then at one of the docks at the condos next door i was catching them in one of the wells and they were only a foot down. reeled up and set my pole down to light a cig and a papermouth hit, so i started thinking about it and that was the key. i would watch them come up and nail my jig. if i didn't catch one in a few minutes i would toss a few nibbles around the well to see where they went, then they would eat the nibble and i'd fish there. it was a blast!! i used a lot of jigs to see if any others would work, but all my fish were caught on those white puddlebugs that i have been preaching about for so long.

I am thinking farther west:D :D
I'm glad you had a good day but it sure was different on the Glaize arm. My experience was similar to what Bugs saw on 11/3. I fished about 4 hours on Saturday and 3 on Sunday and had 8 keepers to show for it.
The water was really cloudy -- it must have turned over recently. It did appear somewhat clearer today as compared to yesterday, however.
Congrats on a good catch. My "best" combo (not than anything worked particularly well) was a 1/16 chartreuse head and black and chartreuse solid tube tipped with minnow and nibble. I was fishing docks.
Despite the poor luck, I can't wait to go back...
