    anybody got a bird 678 hd di? how is it in 10 foot range and any pros. and cons? does it come with a book or just got to use pc to figure it out?

    Just seen in the recent BPShop ad for their spring fishing sale that they have the 597 hd di combo on sale for 379.00,that's a good buy even if it is being discontinued an replaced by the 600 series. ....Boch
