I find myself liking the soft sided bags. For a lot of years I like the swing tray hard sided boxes, but I find the soft bags with plastic trays hold so much more. I picked up an Okeechobee Fats bag from Wally World for $10. That was a lot of years ago though and it only had two trays with it. Now I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.
But don't forget the Roadrunners
I once was given a extremely large hard side tackle box by my parents for Christmas. All it need to be able to fish from it was a small motor. After a while I wished I hadn't ask for it. After many years I converted to a softside bag and would never return to a hard side. Now in the market for either a second softside or a larger one. My only advice is,"Step away from the hardside."
FISH ON
I forgot to mention, soft side bags make a lot less noise on the bottom of the boat.
