Very nice, like the pic
Decided to get out on the ice one more time and it was still a good 7 inches thick but got a little slushy when I left ( still safe though) The fish never turned on but had enough action that I stayed til 1:30 and no one else showed up. A swedish pimple and a grey/pink hair jig was the best baits. Still enjoying ice fishing even though it's alot more work for this lazy fisherman

Good job, would love to catch some of those black crappie.
Nice job! What kind of auger do you use?I am thinking about purchasing one.
Hey PC I use an Eskimo 5" auger, I think I bought it at Minnesota Bait & Tackle. It works pretty good but I'm sure there are better ones out there. I've been considering buying an adapter for a battery powered drill that will let you drill up to 35 holes on one battery of course now that we're at the end of the ice fishing season I'll probably wait til next year. By the way remember the bigger the auger width the more work it is to drill a hole, I've found the 5" is big enough for most all sizes of crappie, the difference between the 5 & 6in. is significant as far as effort to drll a hole and did I mention I'm a lazy fisherman
